NCV Special "No-Frills" Mid-Generation Programs - January - December 2005
These special year-round unescorted programs are flexible and value-packed, and include transatlantic airfare, hotel accommodations, and the Norwegian Coastal Voyage. You can choose a program featuring a 7-day northbound voyage from Bergen to Kirkenes, a 6-day southbound voyage from Kirkenes to Bergen or a 12-day roundtrip voyage from Bergen to Kirkenes and back. The mid-generation vessels, the 312-berth MS Narvik and 318-berth MS Vesteralen, built in the early 1980s and renovated in 1995, are not as fancy or as stylish as the 1990s contemporary ships but they are comfortable and have similar facilities. Norwegian art in the public areas, glass-enclosed panoramic lounge, non-smoking and smoking lounges, dining room, 24-hour café, sauna, children's playroom, Laundromat, elevators and one wheelchair-accessible cabin.
